My name is Ethan Fisk, and I'm a Mechanical Engineering major with a minor in Robotics at Northeastern University in Boston. I'm part of the class of 2026, and after that I plan on pursuing a graduate degree in robotics. At Northeastern I am sabre co-captain for the university's fencing team (Club Nationals 1st place men’s team, USACFC 2022, 2023), and I'm also currently the project lead for NU Robotics' robot arm project.
I have done robotics of some sort since I was in 6th grade, and it's what I'm most passionate about. I chose engineering because I've always liked building things, but I'm also really interested in problem solving and numerical thinking. Robotics is specifically appealing for me because of the variety of fields that it can be applied to, which also means it offers a lot of new and interesting problems to tackle.
Outside of engineering I enjoy fencing, playing piano, skiing/snowboarding, traveling, audiobooks, and indie music. I have also recently gotten into photography, specifically 35mm analog and full-spectrum digital photography.
