I completed my first co-op at Verve Motion in spring of 2023. Verve is a commercial spin-out from Harvard making a powered soft exosuit for industrial workers.
While at verve I worked on the following:
• Designed and iterated on 40+ individual 3D printed components that were used in Verve’s manufacturing facility, by Verve employees in the field, implemented on the product, or used internally
• Conducted repeated testing on Verve actuators, recorded, processed, and interpreted trends in sensor data, devised multiple test procedures and test stands
• Developed custom mounting solution used for test electronics in Verve’s factory, packaged kits, generated and updated documents/drawings, kept track of parts in Arena PLM and ran through full ECO process
• Created a command line interface in Python to read and log sensor data from Phidget modules, modified existing post processing code for multiple test scenarios
